Sportykle (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates Sportykle Lite, a sports centre management product for organisation owners. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — name, email address, phone (optional), organisation name, and password (stored hashed).
- Centre & operations data — centres, sports, batches, plans, members, staff, attendance, enquiries, income/expense records, and related notes you enter.
- Device data — a device identifier used to manage signed-in sessions, plus basic technical logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability.
- Media — profile or centre images you choose to upload.
- Support communications — messages you send to support channels (email / WhatsApp).
2. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve Sportykle Lite.
- Authenticate users, verify email addresses, and reset passwords.
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, important account notices).
- Respond to support requests and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Monitor abuse, prevent fraud, and maintain service integrity.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Legal bases (where applicable)
We process data to perform our contract with you (providing the service), for legitimate interests (security, product improvement), and where required by law. Where consent is required (for example certain marketing), we will ask for it separately.
4. Sharing
We may share data with:
- Infrastructure providers — cloud hosting, databases, object storage, and email delivery used to run the service.
- Legal / safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and integrity of users and Sportykle.
Service providers are bound to process data only as instructed for these purposes.
5. Retention
We retain account and centre data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data via our Account deletion page. Backups and logs may persist for a limited period for security and disaster recovery.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong unique password.
7. International transfers
Data may be processed on servers outside your country (including cloud regions used by our infrastructure providers). We take steps appropriate to the nature of the data and applicable law.
8. Children’s privacy
Sportykle Lite is intended for sports centre owners and administrators. It is not directed at children. If you believe we have collected personal data from a child inappropriately, contact us and we will take appropriate action.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to / restrict certain processing. Contact support@sportykle.com to exercise these rights.
10. Android permissions & crash data
The Android app uses Internet access to sync with our API. If crash reporting is enabled in a future release, crash diagnostics may include device model, OS version, and stack traces (not your password). You can contact us for details about any analytics tools in use.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
